Kinectrics Dedicates Major Investment to Support US Nuclear Renaissance

​Toronto, Ontario, July 30, 2010 – As evidence of Kinectrics’ dedication to the North American commercial nuclear power market, the Company has opened its newest office in Cincinnati, Ohio. This expansion reflects Kinectrics’ continuing investment in providing superior technical support throughout North America to maintain nuclear power as a clean, reliable source of energy. The Cincinnati facility will oversee and manage Equipment Qualification (EQ) and Commercial Grade Dedication programs (CGD) in the United States and, facilitate access to Kinectrics’ vast array of engineering and testing solutions.

This, combined with new contracts from European-based companies wishing to enter the U.S. supply chain, as well as multiple opportunities currently underway, will pave the way for long-term success”, continued Harris.

Kinectrics has provided harsh and mild environment equipment testing services to the nuclear industry since 1975. The new Cincinnati office facilitates ready access to Kinectrics’ complete range of nuclear services, including a new Steam Facility for the harsh environment testing of advanced reactor equipment, numerous thermal and mechanical aging assets and, multiple seismic simulators.
