Kinectrics Reverse Engineering Delivers Practical Solution for Obsolete Relays

In response to the nuclear industry’s need for a solution to obsolescence related to a specific brand of control and latching relays, Kinectrics has launched a special reverse engineering program to bring these relays back to life. 
 
Kinectrics uses a rigorous three-step design process to produce a functioning alpha prototype, a beta prototype that meets all performance requirements, and qualification sample units built under full QA controls. The new relays will be made available to the nuclear industry to replace components that have not been produced in decades. 
 
Kinectrics’ design approach uses legacy artifacts to identify all critical attributes and develop detailed design documents. Kinectrics remanufactures all parts to construct prototypes, manufactures specimens, executes design verification and qualification testing, and produces deliverable units fully traceable to both the original and the new qualification design basis.
