Medium Voltage Cable Testing & Condition Assessment

Dates & Locations

Overview

Medium voltage cables are of key importance to the safe, reliable operation of generating stations and substations. Consequently, utilities are constantly challenged to assess the condition of their installed cable inventory, and to develop rational and systematic cable management programs to aid in both maintenance and life extension decisions. The purpose of this course is to introduce and explain the tools and methods used in the condition assessment of medium voltage cables.
