SorbWeb^™ Plus Secondary Oil Containment System

A practical, effective system

Kinectrics’ economical SorbWeb^™ Plus oil containment system effectively contains oil from spills and leaks associated with transformers, capacitors, storage tank facilities and other oil-filled equipment. Innovative SorbWeb^® Plus technology from Kinectrics lets you manage spill oil risk efficiently with lower capital outlays while virtually eliminating maintenance costs.

The SorbWeb^™ Plus System is designed to effectively contain an oil spill until corrective action is taken. SorbWeb^™ Plus seals on coming in contact with oil in the containment area. Water from rain or snow will pass passively through its “smart” barrier layers until oil contacts the oil mat oil-absorbing copolymer matrix. The SorbWeb^™ Plus System is topped by fire-quenching stones, which can also effectively minimize or eliminate the spread of fire by removing the oil from the atmosphere.

Ideal for use in remote locations and other difficult-to-access sites, the innovative SorbWeb^™ Plus system allows an extended response time for remedial action by oil spill management teams.

PowerKage

An innovative design

Kinectrics has developed the PowerKage; an innovative non-electric fence designed to prevent ground access by squirrels, raccoons, and other animals to electrical equipment, thereby eliminating a common cause of power outages.

PowerKage fence layouts can be configured and focused to contain specific problem areas, i.e. using one or more, smaller fence enclosures within a specific site. Maintenance is minimal and the PowerKage design is backed by extensive research and thorough evaluations.
