Introduction
This multi-year accessibility plan outlines the strategy Kinectrics upholds to prevent and remove barriers to accessibility. This document was developed to ensure compliance with accessibility requirements for Kinectrics locations in Ontario. This plan is reviewed and updated at least once every five years.
Statement of Commitment
Kinectrics is committed to treating all people in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence, including equal access and participation in the workplace for people with disabilities. We believe in integration and equal opportunities for everyone. We are committed to accommodating the needs of people with disabilities to the extent practicable in a timely manner. This will be done by preventing and removing barriers to accessibility and meeting the accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), including the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulations (IASR).

Kinectrics has completed the following accessibility initiatives and commits to continue to review opportunities and areas to improve accessibility for all staff and visitors.
Customer Service
Kinectrics Inc. is committed to excellence in serving all customers including people with disabilities. All goods and services provided by Kinectrics Inc. or any of its subsidiary companies follow the principles of dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity with respect to customers with disabilities.

Information & Communications
Kinectrics has upheld and is committed to continue to meet the communication needs of people with disabilities. Where appropriate, we will continue to consult with individuals with a disability to determine their information and communication needs.
Upon such a request, Kinectrics will provide or arrange for accessible formats and communication supports for persons with disabilities, in a timely manner which will consider the accessibility needs of the individual.
Kinectrics implemented a new website during 2021 which is fully compliant with the mandatory requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).
Kinectrics commits to continue to review communication requirements to ensure compliance.
Employment
Kinectrics is committed to fair and accessible employment practices, in accordance with the parameters of the IASR.
Recruitment
Recruitment practices at Kinectrics have always been based on the principles of inclusivity and fairness. Kinectrics will continue to uphold these principles to offer the availability of accommodation throughout its recruitment process.
Individual Accommodation Plans
Kinectrics has in place a process for the development of documented individual accommodation plans (IAP) for employees with disabilities. Kinectrics commits to continue to review and update IAPs for all staff who require this accommodation.
Return-to-Work Process
Kinectrics has a return-to-work process in place to ensure it addresses the needs of employees who have been absent from work due to a disability and/or who require disability- related accommodation in order to return to work.
Kinectrics shall take appropriate steps to prevent and remove any accessibility barriers identified, which may limit or prevent people with disabilities from participating fully in their work environment.
Self-Service Kiosks
Kinectrics is committed to incorporating accessibility features and considering accessibility for people with disabilities if the need should arise to acquire self-service kiosks.
Other
Accessible Emergency Information
Kinectrics is committed to providing customers and clients with publicly available emergency information in an accessible way upon request, as soon as practicable.
We will identify and provide individualized emergency response information to employees with disabilities when necessary, to ensure all employees are equipped to receive assistance during emergency situations.
Public Spaces
Kinectrics will ensure that it meets accessibility laws when building or making major changes to public spaces.
Ongoing Accessibility Plans
Kinectrics commits to continue to review updated requirements set out by AODA to meet the accessibility needs of our staff, customers and visitors. We commit to continue to submit an accessibility compliance report confirming that Kinectrics has met current accessibility requirements under AODA.
