Niagara Falls, Canada – At the upcoming Canadian Nuclear Society Conference, a team of engineers from the Kinectrics Inspection and Maintenance (IMS) group will receive a technical achievement award for the CWEST* inspection tool.

The CWEST* tool was designed and built by the Kinectrics IMS department to reduce outage duration and personnel dose during hydrogen equivalent sampling at Bruce Power stations. The recent successful deployment of CWEST* was recognized both for the capabilities of the tooling system technology and the outstanding human performance and professionalism demonstrated by Kinectrics personnel at all levels of the organization.

The John S. Hewitt Team Achievement Award will be presented during the Conference at a special luncheon on June 6, 2017. Simon Berube, Andrew Grieve, IMS department Service Line Leaders, and Jacqueline Cherevaty, Department Manager will accept the award.
