Overhead Line Field Inspection Expert

Andrew Rizzetto has more than 10 years of experience supporting the condition assessment and failure evaluations of overhead lines. He holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto where he specialized in mechatronics/robotics and vibration.

Andrew has been an integral part of the research and development for the advanced, non-destructive, conductor assessment device called LineVue®.

At Kinectrics, he has diverse work experience as a service line leader and field engineer, with day-to-day responsibilities of conductor assessment projects, fitness-for-service evaluations, design qualification testing, conductor vibration monitoring, transmission tower vibration monitoring, failure investigations, and LineVue® field testing services.
