Kinectrics, Global – Kinectrics is excited to announce that it is one of the first testing labs to be recognized as an IEEE three-star testing facility for the IEEE Nuclear Standards Certification Program in the areas of Seismic and Environmental Qualification Testing.

“Achieving this certification attests to Kinectrics’ continued commitment to deliver exceptional testing services and facilities. Our Nuclear Equipment Qualification lab provides a variety of services to ensure our client’s equipment meets the highest industry standards. Kinectrics is proud to be a part of this certification program that meets the most widely accepted qualification requirements and product conformance to IEEE nuclear power standards.” said Nisa Halsey, VP, Nuclear Equipment Solutions of Kinectrics.

The IEEE Nuclear Standards Certification Program recognizes nuclear equipment qualification labs in a three-star rating, with three being the most significant and able to test independently. To qualify, labs undergo an extensive audit performed by IEEE Conformity Assessment Program (ICAP) based on IEEE standards. This program was developed in collaboration with industry experts and stakeholders to enable the entire nuclear equipment qualification (EQ) ecosystem to adopt a more efficient and cost-effective standards-based qualification process.
