Canada’s Nuclear Energy Strategy sets an ambitious goal: to make Canada a global nuclear supplier and exporter of choice. Drawing on the panelists’ experience delivering nuclear projects in Canada and internationally, this main-stage session will explore what it will take to translate that ambition into international projects, partnerships and opportunities for Canadian businesses.
The discussion will examine how successful domestic deployment strengthens Canada’s credibility abroad and how Western Canada can contribute to a competitive, integrated Canadian nuclear offering. From Saskatchewan’s uranium leadership to Alberta’s engineering, construction and major-project expertise, the West has capabilities that can support CANDU projects and broader nuclear opportunities around the world.
